国际 Opportunities
Studying abroad during a semester of coursework, or embarking on a travel course, sometime during your college career is highly encouraged! 学生 that immerse themselves into other cultures and places return much more culturally competent and comfortable when working with diverse audiences. 教育 学生 have numerous opportunities to travel abroad during their college career.
Cuernavaca, 墨西哥 教育-Based Travel Course
Every January (J-Term), 教育 students travel to Cuernavaca, 墨西哥, 三个星期, to immerse themselves in the Mexican Culture and Spanish Language, to compare and contrast the Mexican 教育 system with the 教育 system in the United States. 学生 attending the trip will attend culture and language classes at the Spanish Language Institute, visit public and private Mexican schools, of course visit many of the famous and historical sites around 墨西哥. No Spanish language skills necessary to attend!

Cuernavaca, 墨西哥 – 学生教学
学生 who fall in love with their time in Cuernavaca, 墨西哥 while on the three-week travel course will often return to complete nine, 或者全部18个, weeks of their student teaching at one of the many prestigious private schools within the City of Cuernavaca. 住房, 餐, transportation to and from school are all arranged, any licensure level can be accommodated. No Spanish language skills are necessary to student teach in Cuernavaca. Interested students should make an appointment with an education advisor to learn more!

The Professional 程序 in 教育 in partnership with the Office of 国际 教育 at UW-绿湾 is able to offer UWGB students the opportunity to student teach abroad in many countries across the world! UW-绿湾 students have completed student teaching in New Zealand, 南非, 泰国, 牙买加, 德国, 伦敦, many more places just to name a few.
